Now *This* is How I Want to Celebrate Donate Life Month!

When Jim was in need of an organ transplant, I did what nerds do: I looked for books on the subject. We wanted useful info but also a hefty scoop of humor and hope... and came up short. My new year’s resolution was to write the book I would have wanted to read. And I am on track to finish a draft this month — National Donate Life Month.

I have been going full hermit on this - 4:30 am alarm, typing in the dark while chugging my 4th K-cup. My writing partner (Jack the Cat) suggested I let the cat out of the bag - if just to explain why I pass out on the couch at 8:15 pm most evenings.

So there you have it. I have fulfilled my promise to my cat. OK! Now back to my regularly scheduled day job.
